Established in 1989, Capital Recovery Center is a non-profit Washington State Certified Behavioral Health Agency that specializes in co-occurring treatment, integrating substance use disorder and mental health services. With integrated services, we can best serve individuals and improve outcomes for recovery. Capital Recovery Center builds safe environments so people can become self-directed by learning and using tools that are helpful in our wellness and life journeys. We work to dismantle misconceptions, confront discrimination and build understanding. Empowerment and full community participation are our ultimate goals.

Buprenorphine (Suboxone®)

What is Buprenorphine?

Buprenorphine (Suboxone®) is a medication to treat opioid use disorder. It promptly stops withdrawal symptoms and reduces opioid craving. It is long-acting, has a very low overdose risk and minimal euphoric effect, and helps support recovery.

We are a Walk-in Clinic

  • Same-Day Visits

What Can You Expect?

At Your First Visit:
A Peer Recovery Coach will introduce you to the clinic and collect basic information.

At Every Visit:
You will meet with a medical provider who will help you get the most out of the medication.
In most cases, you will be provided a short-term supply of medication, dispensed to you on-site.
You can meet with a peer recovery coach, or set a time to meet outside of clinic hours.

On Return Visits:

Occasionally, urine testing will occur to confirm the presence of buprenorphine.

The Olympia Bupe Clinic is open to walk-ins Monday-Friday 4-7:00 pm (Alternatively call 360-349-0033 to speak to a Bupe Clinic Specialist, Monday-Friday 1-8 pm.
